Haven't had a lot of time outside of work as of late but on the positive side I have started to receive some of my replacement parts. The latest today - new regulators to replace the above Zener diodes which I am told will burnout on a  regular basis. I had special ordered these ones from india since they were specific for the 12V VLB Vespa and i wasn't sure if I could simply replace them with another AC regulator.. Bulletwala seemed ok but they sent via DHL and I found the shipping prices a bit too high compared to some of the other places in Asia.
